API Compliance

SmartSoloFlow is a solo-run business selling Make.com automation templates and, in the future, a suite of AI-powered SaaS tools. This page describes our specific use of the Google Ads API and Google Keyword Planner API.

Our Use Case

We use the Google Ads API's Keyword Planner functionality for our own internal keyword research — to plan and manage the Google Ads campaigns we run to advertise our own templates and SaaS tools. This is not a customer-facing feature: it is not sold, resold, exposed to buyers, or built into any product we distribute.

The workflow is a Make.com automation we operate ourselves:

  1. A scenario calls the Keyword Planner API for a given seed keyword or topic related to our own products.
  2. The API returns keyword metrics — search volume, competition level, and suggested bid ranges.
  3. An AI model helps organize and summarize that data for readability.
  4. The results are written to a Google Sheet, which we use directly to plan and manage our own Google Ads campaigns.

Data We Access

Only keyword-level metrics: search volume, competition, and bid-range estimates for keywords relevant to our own advertising. We do not access other advertisers' account data, personal data, or any data unrelated to our own keyword research.

How the Data Is Used

Exclusively to inform our own Google Ads campaign planning — which keywords to target, and at what estimated cost. The data stays within our internal Google Sheet and Make.com scenario; it is not published, sold, shared with third parties, or used to train any AI or machine learning model.

Compliance Commitments

  • Our use adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
  • We request only the OAuth scope needed for keyword-planning data — nothing broader.
  • Data retrieved via the API is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or data brokers.
  • Data retrieved via the API is never used to train, tune, or improve any AI or machine learning model.
